I've started a writing game in which I take one-word prompts and use them to write a story in 500 words or less. I'm hoping this type of writing will help me improve my narrative abilities while creating a slew of interesting short stories for people to enjoy.
Here are the rules:
Suggestions must be one word. I started the blog with the word "chair." You may pick any one word in the English language.
Words that belong to multiple parts of speech should be identified by the form in which you would like to see them written, noun, verb, etc.
It is unlikely that I will reject words, but I reserve the right to do so if I see fit.
All comments on this blog are subject to moderation, but participants may post anonymously if they choose.
I will give each word equal treatment and consideration but may not be able to write on all of them.
I may invite co-writers to work on this blog, should that happen, additional rules may follow.
